Guided DNS Connect Overview
When you connect an external domain, our DNS resolver queries the root nameserver records in real time to fingerprint your provider:
Provider Fingerprinting
Automatically identifies where your domain is registered (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google, Route 53, etc.).
Direct Console Routing
Generates a customized button that opens your provider's specific DNS settings screen for your exact domain name.
Customized Visual Guides
Displays visual step-by-step instructions with pre-filled fields tailored specifically to your detected DNS provider.
Background Propagation Polling
Continuously polls public DNS resolvers in the background and sends an in-app alert when your records go live.

One-Click Dashboard Navigation
When you click Configure at [Provider] in your domain settings:
- A new browser tab opens directly to your provider's DNS editor.
- Your GN-Apex dashboard displays pre-filled Copy buttons for the required CNAME and TXT values.
- Paste the records, click Save at your registrar, and return to GN-Apex.
Real-Time Verification Polling
Once you complete setup, you don't have to keep refreshing the page. Our background worker checks DNS propagation every 60 seconds and displays a celebration banner the moment your site goes live.
