Custom Domains & Edge Routing
Connect your existing external domains to any GN-Apex project node. Traffic is routed through our global edge network with automatic SSL/TLS certificates and instant cache invalidation.
“Add a single DNS record at your current registrar. Our global edge network handles flat SSL certificates, DDoS mitigation, and traffic routing automatically.”
Custom Domain Architecture
GN-Apex allows organizations to connect independently-owned domains with zero server management:
Single-Record Ingress
Point your domain's CNAME record to our global edge ingress (ingress.gnapex.com) to activate edge acceleration.
Automated Edge SSL
Dedicated TLS 1.3 cryptographic certificates are automatically provisioned and renewed with zero manual maintenance.
Independent Project Binding
Connect domains to your organization first, then attach or re-route them between different website nodes anytime.
Instant Live Verification
Our verification engine queries public DNS edge resolvers in real time to activate traffic routing the moment records propagate.
Apex Edge SSL / TLS 1.3
Every custom domain connected to GN-Apex benefits from automated cryptographic protection:
- Zero Configuration: No certificate files to upload or renew. Certificates are issued automatically upon DNS verification.
- HTTP/3 & TLS 1.3: Supports the latest web protocols for fast handshake speeds on mobile networks.
- Automated Renewal: Certificates are auto-renewed 30 days before expiration.
Connecting an Existing Domain
Navigate to Domains → Connect Existing Domain. Enter your domain name (e.g. mybrand.com) and optionally pick which project to link it to immediately.
Log into your domain provider (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap) and add the following CNAME record:
Return to your GN-Apex dashboard and click Verify DNS. Once detected, your status switches to VERIFIED, and SSL activates automatically.
Decoupled Project Assignment
Domains are owned by your Organization, meaning you can switch a custom domain from Landing Page A to Main Store B in one click without re-verifying DNS records.
